I ran GE women 10km run today!

The run is OK, timing wise, I think I still remain the same, never improve never “deprove”. BUT nothing is final..cuz since I never exactly take down my timing, I shall wait until they post me my timing ..((:

BUT I HAVE SOMETHING TO GRUMBLE ABOUT. I seriously think that SHAPE RUN IS SO MUCH BETTER, as in the pre and post race. With all the raving reviews about last year GE 10k run, I seriously expected much better organization. Imgaine that I ordered a XL shirt, and the size they only have left for me is an S!! Then why did they ask for my size in the first place?! AND the goody bag is kinda sucky, all those useless vouchers. I know I shouldn’t judge a run base on the goody bag. BUT IT IS SO EX ($38)! Even more than this year SHAPE run, and I’m not even sure why I’m paying more for a lousy service. If thats the standard they have, they seriously should charge lower. Otherwise, I doubt I’ll be returning next year. AND the post carnival sucks. The isotonic drink tastes weird, plain water is not cold, only bananas, and pudding can only have one per person…WTH? I AM SO DISAPPOINTED.

Race route wise, I think the route is better than SHAPE RUN, cuz we ran on the F1 race track, sceanary is also so much better. Markings shown for every km also helps in the run. BUT I SERIOUSLY hate the ending run, it is kinda short for sprinting…and by the time u have the momentum, the race has ended…I think they should end like at the F1 track, because the road there is so straight! ie, suitable fot the LAST DASH.

But so far, it is still a happy day, cuz manage to take some pictures with my dragonboat teammates, as for picturs, I will upload them next time. Cuz I really suppper busy nowadays..with a competition AND EXAMS AND a stupid essay (worth 40% of my mod) in less than a month.
